What’s your favourite memory of Jordana? My favourite memory of Jordi was at my daughter's 9th birthday sleepover. I let the girls choose fabric and I made pillowcases for them. Jordana amazed me. She took such pleasure in going through my fabric drawers, watching, and helping sew. She was the only one interested in what I was doing and her joy was palpable. She asked me to teach her to sew and I promised I would. It was only a few months later that she was diagnosed with DIPG and this never happened. So while this is one of my favourite memories, it is also one of my greatest regrets that we never had that opportunity. I look forward to the day when we will sew together again.
What gives you all the feels? Seeing Jordana's legacy (Jordana's Rainbows) spread kindness and rainbows worldwide. I know Jordi is loving this kindness movement. Great things are done by a series of small things brought together. Vincent Van Gogh
What is your secret superpower? I look for my angels and seek out kindness. I believe now more than ever we need to change the narrative in today's world to always choose kind. Choose kind....it's really that simple. Jordi understood this better than anyone, and if I look for her she always lets me know she is never far.
Do you dream in colour? Always! Especially in the colours of the rainbow, but only in the correct colour order of course. Jordi and I both emphasized the importance of putting rainbows in order (something we laughed about). The seven colors of the rainbow are not only a thing of great beauty but also have Biblical significance. I pray everyone dreams in colour.
